Umm, yeah... just letting people know that I am still alive. My tablet decided to go wonky on me for a bit, but its been fixed. And what the heck is up with the battery? It just died about five minutes after I tunnel the tablet on! My laptop battery is no better but it has a good excuse! dive had that laptop for ages! This tablet is practically new! well, its five years old, but that is so not the point. the attached keyboard for the tablet is'nt working the way it should, but at least my tablet is working again. well, I'm off. got Finals to take after all. | | |

Anyway, here's something to interest you all. An outline for a new story.
Tentative Title: Wing Across the Starless Night Sky
- "Dear Elder Brother (Because of all things to change your name to, it had to be Zechs and I refuse to call you by a name that a simple slip would turn to a particular action), Life is as good as it will ever get in times of war. Kurosaki-san is as good a foster father to me as ever, and has been a great help in my endeavors to control my abilities. Periodically, if time permits, he allows me to attend public functions where I get to see our little sister. Relena has grown up very well, and sometimes, I find it hard to believe that I am two years older than her. Dorlain-san has done a wonderful job with her, and I wonder how she might have grown up had the Sanq Kingdom remained intact. My abilities continue to get me into interesting situations, and you will be pleased to hear that they have all been solved with the minimum of fuss and loss of life (Although I will always have the scars, and the girls claim that the scars make me look quite dashing. Whether it is true or if that is simply their opinion has yet to be seen.). Things are still very hectic, and our antaganist continues to kick up trouble, but the assistance of the retired captains and the exiled captains are invaluable to us as we have been pushing him back quite steadily. The Captain-Commander foresees a victory in our near future... Of course, he's been foreseeing a victory in the near future since all of this started three years ago, but this time, everyone has high hopes since all the captains, retired, exiled, or not, all agree that we are winning. Victory should come soon. I hope to visit you when all of this is over. In the meantime, please take care of yourself on the battlefields. Tell General Kushrenada that I will track him down and neuter him if he doesn't let you come visit again soon. You both know I will do it if it comes down to it. Konoha Advent Chapter 5
Time seemed to drag as they traveled, collecting clues and reporting to whichever Younin came to them. Whatever puzzle existed was being pieced together by Nadil in the security of Safehouse Nine in the shadows of Hidden Grass Village. Caine could almost taste the frustration of the Intelligence Agent as she went through each missive containing new orders and information. The information the Kakashi had retrieved from the prisoner had only served to solidify whatever scheme that Nadil had unearthed, and whatever it was, Nadil was not speaking of it except, perhaps, to the Hokage.

Entering Sound Country was simple enough, though dodging the patrols was the main difficulty for the team. Naruto’s face usually expressive face had smoothed into an unreadable expression of impassivity, the tensing of the skin at the corners of his eyes and the clenching of his jaws were the only signs of his unease.
Yamato, knowing that the blonde had his communicator on at all times, wondered vaguely how the boy could be receiving any reports when the entire group was quite obviously out of radio range with Konoha. Of course, it wouldn’t surprise the ANBU Captain if the Hunter was constantly in radio range with someone who was in radio range of someone else back in Konoha, creating an elaborate relay system for the Hunters so they need not rely on messenger beasts which were often slow and rarely, though occasionally unreliable where carrying messages were concerned.
“Stop thinking so much,” Naruto’s voice said suddenly.
Yamato flinched. Naruto sighed, “Just stop thinking so much. Your chakra is projecting your feelings, and it is distracting.”

Anyway, in that dream, all those bishies were running around at the rim of the giant library sized coffee cup filled with coffee. So I was looking up at the bishies, and they stop and wave at me, and I'm all, "I wish I could be up there with all those bishies! wistful sigh!" and a ladder appears out of nowhere. I climb up, and the bishies and I are hanging out, having a great time, going swimming in the coffee while fully clothed, and out of nowhere, I get dragged to the bottom, and i'm breathing in the coffee. So at the bottom of the cup is a huge mansion, and atobe opens the door and we all go in. So the cup is full of coffee, but the inside is perfectly dry, and even though the door and windows are all open, the coffee isn;t filling up the house! So we all go inside, and the bishies get down, hot and steamy. I'm just standing there, staring as a giant neon sign goes off in my head screaming "OMFG! Yaoi!" and then out of nowhere, Fu-Fu pops up and screams, "Wow! Free show! Yay Yaoi!" and she's waving around these pompoms and a speech bubble is floating over her head as she prances around the room with a camera, reading, "gimme a Y! Gimme an A! Gimme an O! Gimme an I! What's that spell? Go Yaoi!" and the bishies stop, and run away screaming about rabid fangirls, and Fu-fu blinks and goes, "Huh? What happened? Where's all the Yaoi gone?" And then Yue shows up, grabs me, and runs away.

I just finished decorating half of the cupcakes and one and one fifth of the two cakes, but since mom and I are only two people, and can't possibly eat that much cake without rotting our teeth, I took the decorated cake and cupcakes over to grandmom's house. Now, the only question is, what are we going to do with whatever is left? Because even though half of the cakes are at grandmom's house, the other half is still here, and mom and I do not have the capability of eating all of that. I just threw out a canister of frosting cause I was so sick and tired of the sugar smell after just one night. But I do like the cake. It's in the shape of a pretty little wreath. I tried to do the same with the cupcakes, but it's easier to just slather the top with frosting and be done with it than to get all fancy. I'll never work in a bakery decorating cakes, that's for sure. I just don't have the patience for that type of thing. hehe ^_^ ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- --------------- Anyway, I just got my present from Kendrick. Yays! Terms to Know:
Imprint-An Imprint is the echo of the Oracle’s soul. Every time an Oracle attempts a major working, they leave an Imprint in the Collective. Over time, multiple Imprints from a single Oracle merge together because they are shadows of the same soul. Imprints can assist an Oracle in a major working if the Oracle taps the Collective. The story of an Imprint can be read by any Kazama so long as they have a strong enough gift of Insight.
Collective-A Collective is a secondary world, one that is purely spiritual and mental, in which the Imprints of previous Oracles reside. The Collective is basically a spiritual library that can be tapped by an Oracle.
Insight-The Insight is a weak and incomplete version of the Yochigan. Based on the amount of spiritual power a Kazama possesses, the Insight can be clear to the point of being actual visions or it can be nothing more than a gut feeling. The stronger the Insight is in a Kazama, the closer they are to gaining the Yochigan, and with it, attaining the Oracle status.
Shadow Sacrifice-A form of Shamanic Sorcery in which a person becomes a living scapegoat doll to take upon themselves the ill fortune that would befall their charges. It is the Bloodline Limit of the Magami Clan.
Parallels-The Imprints of pre-Parallel and Parallel (the story) Naruto. They are still two separate Imprints because the respective personalities were so different in both times.
Twin Mind-The Haruno family are distant extensions of the Magami Clan. Their Twin Mind Blood Limit is a rough copy of the Magami Clan’s Spirit Voice ability. The Twin Mind is basically a copy of the original mind that is the idealized version of the original mind, or is formed from repressed traits. It provides a Haruno with marginal protection from the Yamanaka Clan’s mind techniques and also provides them with immunity against the Magami Clan’s Spirit Voice Techniques. Because a bearer of the Twin Minds basically has two minds, their initial ability with chakra control and concentration and memory are doubled.
Yochigan-The Prediction Eye is the bloodline limit of the Kazama Clan. The Yochigan is commonly called the All Seeing Eye, though it is a moniker more often associated with the Byakugan.
Spirit Voice-The Spirit Voice technique can be considered a low level compulsion genjutsu. One synchronizes one’s chakra with that of the target, then imbues the voice with the synchronized chakra as you give the command or advice. The Spirit Voice is a Magami Clan technique that can be used by non-Magami as is indicated in the few times that it’s used by an Oracle.
Shinigami Eyes-A Magami has the ability to see spirits of the deceased. Naruto’s ability to see the dead is enhanced by the Kazama Clan’s innate cognitive abilities, and augmented by the Kyuubi’s own spiritual awareness. | | |
